Staff Selection Commission every year conducts SSC CGL Exam to give opportunities for 10th/12th pass candidates to grab Government Jobs at Group B & C posts. SSC CGL will now be conducted through a two-tier recruitment process where Tier-1 & Tier-2 Exam is of Objective type, and there will be no descriptive & skill test to be held. The candidate has to qualify in each stage to get shortlisted for the position released. SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023-

The selection procedure is followed by qualifying 2 stages of examination (Tier 1 & Tier 2) which are depicted below. You can get an idea of what is the SSC CGL Exam Pattern for all stages.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL Tier I exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks which consists of 100 questions to answer. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer-

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam is to be conducted in 3 papers. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer-
